The quest for a new number 9 is finally over for AC Milan. While Santiago Giménez is not spared from physical problems and Christopher Nkunku recently injured his ankle, the Milan club needed a center forward to guide their attack. He finally set his sights on Niclas Füllkrug, whose arrival he made official this Friday. The 32-year-old arrives from West Ham United on loan with a €12 million option to buy.
« AC Milan are delighted to announce that Niclas Füllkrug is joining the club on loan from West Ham United, with an option to buy. (…) He will wear jersey number 9 », Communicated the Rossonero club. Asked about his arrival at a press conference yesterday, Massimialiano Allegri even announced that he will be available for the match against Cagliari (Friday, 8:45 p.m.). Fullkrug will also try to get back on track, since he has not scored a single goal this season with West Ham, in nine games played.
