François Nalborczyk: Para-Badminton Strategy & Technique

François, 63, suffered paralysis in his legs after a work accident in 2010. Consequence? The presence of a wheelchair for life.

From January 23 to 25, 2026, he participated in the French Para-Badminton Championships with more than a hundred players from all over France.

An example of courage

At the end of this very sporting event, François Nalborczyk won the bronze medal, an achievement for the Altigerian community. In front of him, Bruno Cat finished second and Thomas Jakobs first.

He thus completes his already impressive track record: several French champion titles but also, very recently, a title of vice para badminton champion in Poland, his native country.

François Nalborczyk currently plays at the Badminton Club de l’Emblavez 43 (BCE43) in Lavoute-sur-Loire, with able-bodied people.

A performance which certainly earned him the gold medal for courage and which, without a doubt, is the pride of his Emblavez club.
