FC Barcelona midfielder Fermin Lopez has agreed to extend his contract by two years, until June 2031, the Catalan club announced on Friday.
The young 22-year-old midfielder, European champion and Olympic champion in 2024 with the Spanish team, should sign this contract extension with the reigning Spanish champion club in the coming days.

A pure product of La Masia, the Barça training center which he joined at the age of 13, Fermin Lopez made his professional debut in the Blaugrana jersey on September 19, 2023 during a Champions League group match against Royal Antwerp.
He has since become an essential element of FC Barcelona, with 113 matches played for 29 goals, and of La Roja.
