“Elvi floorball league” results of Saturday, January 3, men’s tournament games:

“Valmiera” – “Bauska” 9:4 (3:2, 3:1, 3:1);

START – Cēsu “Lekrings” 7:8 (6:2, 0:0, 1:5, 0:1) – overtime;

Talsu NSS/”Krauzers” – “Ķekava”/RB&B 6:3 (2:2, 0:1, 4:0);

“Rubene” of Kocēni – “Lielvārde”/”FatPipe” 8:4 (2:2, 0:0, 6:2).

As floorball.lv writes about the course of the game, – two minutes of regular time had not yet been played in the Valmiera Olympic Center when the Valmiera team was already in the lead with 2:0. Aleksejs Jakovlevs and Toms Kotāns each threw the ball for the hosts.

In the 4th minute, Pēteris Zeltiņš from Baušče responded with a goal – 1:2. After the first period Valmierians were in the lead with 3:2, because Ričardas Eglītis scored a goal for them, but Zeltiņš responded with the same goal for the visiting team. During the second third, the hosts got a three-goal handicap, but throughout the game “FBK Valmiera” celebrated a convincing victory with 9:4.
