Brahmanis named OHL December MVP
Riga “Prizma” forward Edijs Brahmanis has been recognized as the most valuable player or MVP of the “Optibet” Hockey League (OHL) for December, the Latvian Hockey Federation (LHF) reports. As reported by the TV channel TV3.
The 42-year-old hockey player played four games of the “Optibet” Hockey League in December, in which he scored three goals and supplemented them with seven assists, accumulating a total of 10 points. This is Braman’s first MVP title of the season.
In total, this season Eddy Brahmanis scored 5 goals and made 12 assists in 10 OHL games, accumulating 17 efficiency points.
December’s best stars in the OHL
In addition to Braman, forward Kevin Strādnieks of “Liepāja hockey team” was named the second best player of the month of December. He has five goals and three assists in December.
Kyiv “Capitals” forward Mārtiņš Karsums, who has scored three goals and made the same number of assists in six Decembers, has been recognized as the third star of the month.
OHL MVP Determination Process
The best players of the month of the Optibet Hockey League are determined by one joint rating, which is made in cooperation with the company OPTIBET. The MVP award is given to the top three stars, but only the number one gets the MVP title.
For example, in the previous season, “Mogo/RSU” striker Kaspars Daugavins won the MVP titles in October, while in November, Henrijs Ančs from “Mogo/LSPA” was named MVP.
