The president of the Dominican Badminton Federation, Nelson Javier Ozuna, reported on significant progress in his institutional management after maintaining a collaborative approach with the embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the country, headed by ambassador Chen Luning.
Javier Ozuna, through a press release, highlighted that the meeting between FEDOBAD and the Chinese embassy allowed for the exchange of views on possible areas of cooperation aimed at the development of Dominican badminton, including technical and training strengthening and the exchange of sports experiences.
The FEDOBAD positively valued the openness and receptivity of the Chinese diplomatic mission, highlighting the importance of establishing international strategic alliances that contribute to the growth and projection of badminton in the country.
He said that the institution he directs will continue to follow up on this approach, with a view to carrying out future initiatives to benefit the sport of racket and shuttlecock.
Ambassador Chen Luning congratulated Dominican badminton players for the significant progress they have made in terms of national and international competitiveness.
