Three other residents of Macherio are on trial for attempted murder: father and son, a 53-year-old already known to the police and an 18-year-old as well as a 20-year-old. The defendants asked to be tried under the abbreviated procedure and made an offer of compensation to the victim, who ended up hospitalized under yellow code at the San Gerardo hospital in Monza for head fractures. We return to court in June. The attack was caused by a punitive expedition against the 34-year-old after an argument over the alleged harassment. The alarm went off around 5.30pm when the intervention of the ambulance was requested, activated in code red to rescue a man seriously injured in the head. A few minutes earlier, a video from the cameras in the parking lot shows the victim being approached by a group of at least six people. From insults we move on to threats and pushes, up to aggression. The Lissone Green Cross ambulance and the medical vehicle intervened on site and the injured man was transported to the emergency room of the San Gerardo hospital in Monza and hospitalized with a reserved prognosis in intensive care. The Biassono police intervened promptly. The military arrested two people again in the act, the 53-year-old and his 18-year-old son. Subsequently, the investigations made it possible to track down and place a third person, the 20-year-old, identified as the one who actually used the baseball bat. The 53-year-old and the 20-year-old were locked up in Monza prison, while the 18-year-old was subjected to house arrest. Precautionary measures which, at the end of the investigations and with the request to go to trial, were weakened, with only the 20-year-old still under house arrest. Investigations continue to identify the other participants in the attack.
