A real quadruple ace! The semi-finals of the Australian Open tennis tournament take place this Friday, January 30 with, as actors, the four best current players on the planet.
World number 1 Carlos Alcaraz, as well as the other three top seeds, Jannik Sinner (No. 2), Alexander Zverev (No. 3) and Novak Djokovic (No. 4) avoided, with more or less ease, all the obstacles to meet in the semi-finals of the Australian Open.
After the duel between the Spaniard and Zverev, scheduled for 4:30 a.m. (French time), the day will continue with the clash between the two Australian surface specialists. Djokovic, miraculous in the previous round but still in search of a 25th Grand Slam title, his 11th in Melbourne, faces world number 2 and double title holder Jannik Sinner.
A clash of generations which risks causing great sparks. The two men have already faced each other ten times, for an advantage Djokovic (6-4). “We are lucky that he is still here playing incredible tennis at his age,” underlined Sinner who will be favored by the predictions.
