The big goal that is Novak Djokovic for the 2026 season is to win the 25th Grand Slam title. But the Serb could also crack a magical mark when it comes to prize money.

Djokovic has amassed a considerable fortune in his career spanning over 20 years and has earned 191 million euros from his successes on the tennis court alone. If the 38-year-old continues to perform at his usual high level, it seems anything but impossible that he will exceed 200 million in career prize money this year.
As far as these statistics are concerned, the Serb is already in his own sphere. Rafael Nadal is far behind in second place – with a “measly” $134 million in prize money. Third is Roger Federer with 130 million. Fourth place goes to Andy Murray (well behind the top 3), who grossed a total of $64 million between 2003 and 2024.
The fifth man on this list is already Carlos Alcaraz. At just 22 years old, the current world number one has earned a total of 60 million dollars in prize money – 18 million of which will be in 2025 alone. If “Carlitos” continues to perform at this level and adds several more to his six major titles, it is already foreseeable that he will pulverize the prize money rankings at some point.
Ranked sixth without a Grand Slam title
An active player also ranks in a very respectable sixth place – one who (yet) didn’t even need to win a Grand Slam title to advance into these spheres: Alexander Zverev. With three major final appearances, seven Masters 1000 titles and two ATP Finals triumphs, the German managed to bring in prize money of $58 million. Just behind Zverev is Jannik Sinner with $56 million.
In summary, Novak Djokovic definitely has the potential to become the first tennis player to break the $200 million mark in prize money, be it in 2026 or 2027. Nevertheless, unless something extraordinary happens, he must be prepared to be overtaken in this ranking by Carlos Alcaraz and/or Jannik Sinner sooner or later.
