Paris FC continues its market in the Premier League. After Luca Koleosho (Burnley) and Marshall Munetsi (Wolverhampton), the Parisian club will record the arrival of a third player from the English championship in the form of loan. An agreement has been reached with Brighton for central defender Diego Coppola (22 years old, 1.92 m). He will arrive in Paris during the day to have his medical examination. This is a dry loan with no purchase option.
Performing with Hellas Verona in Serie A, Coppola had his first two selections for the Italian team last June. He was transferred to Brighton for 10 million euros this summer. But he failed to establish himself there, playing only five matches in the Premier League.
Also coveted by Serie A clubs, he therefore chose to relaunch at Paris FC where he will bring a little competition to the other central defenders and will constitute another solution for Stéphane Gilli, especially if he continues to play with three central defenders. The injury (6 to 8 weeks off) contracted by Samir Chergui during the CAN with Algeria also weighed on the decision to recruit another central defender. There could even be a second recruit for this position. Paris FC has not yet made its decision. Discussions continue with Estoril (Portugal) for the transfer of Kevin Boma.
Paris FC now have five days left to find a center forward, their priority target during this winter transfer window.
