According to the sports information site MaisFutebol, the 42-year-old Brazilian would have acquired 50% of the capital of this legal structure used by most Portuguese professional clubs, and must buy back the remaining 50% at the end of the current season. Still according to MaisFutebol, Dani Alves would consider putting his boots back on and playing for the next six months at Sao Joao de Ver.

The former Barça right-back has not played again since January 2023, when he was fired by Mexican club Pumas due to the affair which resulted in a first instance conviction for rape, which was later overturned.

Dani Alves was accused of having raped a young woman during the night of December 30 to 31, 2022 in the VIP zone of a nightclub in Barcelona, ​​which he always denied, evoking in particular a consensual sexual relationship, after however changing his version several times.
