Hugo Hare, 19 years old, former resident of the Metz training center and current member of the Quevilly-Rouen Métropole B team, which plays in Regional 1, was, like Tahirys Dos Santos, “burned 30% of his body” according to Christophe Hutteau, his agent and Thelen.
He was celebrating New Year’s Eve at the Le Constellation establishment, with his friends, when he declared himself, Thursday 1is January 2026 at 1:30 a.m., a dramatic fire which could have been caused by festive candles.
He suffered second degree burns
According to our information, the young footballer, native of Mont-Saint-Aignan, who played for Mont-Saint-Aignan FC, FUSC Bois-Guillaume and QRM before joining Metz, where he stayed for two seasons, suffered from second-degree burns on his hands and face.
He should soon be transferred to a Parisian hospital. Pending further information, the QRM club did not wish to comment for the moment.
