The championship, organised by the Council’s sport and leisure team, saw a turnout of 136 pupils from 17 schools.
The competition unfolded in cluster rounds, including various categories such as singles, doubles, and mixed doubles matches.
The top two schools from each cluster earned a coveted spot in the final.
The schools qualifying for the final included Abercromby, Banchory, Muckhart, Tillicoultry, Redwell, and Sunnyside.
The finals were held at Lornshill Academy on December 12.
After a series of engaging matches, Redwell Primary School clinched the championship for the fourth successive year.
Sunnyside and Banchory Primary Schools took the second and third places, respectively.
To further celebrate and encourage these values, a selection of pupils was awarded brand-new badminton rackets for their exceptional conduct during the competition.
The names of the recipients and their schools are as follows: Jessica from Coalsnaughton Primary School, Sandy from Alva Primary School, Amber from Park Primary School, Sam from Clackmannan Primary School, Daniel from Fishcross Primary School, and Evie from Banchory Primary School.
Additionally, fair play prizes were handed out during the final.

The awarded pupils were Grace from Abercromby Primary School, Robert from Muckhart Primary School, and Ellie from Tillicoultry Primary School.
The council’s sport and leisure team took the time to express their appreciation to all the pupils, volunteers, and school staff for their cooperation and support throughout the competition.
They also extended their gratitude to Alloa, Alva, and Lornshill Academies, the hosts of the different matches.
