Thibaut Courtois is one of the best goalkeepers in the world. He is the absolute number 1 at Real Madrid and he is also undisputed at the Red Devils. Courtois indicated an interview Sporza.
The goalkeeper previously spoke out about a possible retirement from the national team, but he also made some strong revelations. Courtois had already faced some world top players and it was not a rarity that he received praise afterwards.

This is what Haaland said
Especially in the Champions League, Courtois kept Real straight several times. “How come I’m always so good against Liverpool? (laughs) No idea. Maybe because I’ve been able to handle the pressure of top matches since my youth. I really enjoy those Champions League nights.”
And the top players have already come to Courtois a few times. “Sometimes other players start laughing at me. For example, Haaland said to me: ‘You are really incredible’. And after Liverpool, Van Dijk and Salah came to congratulate me. It’s nice that you get respect from such top players.”
Best goalkeeper?
In Madrid he is held in high esteem. “I grew up with Iker Casillas – the fact that they mention me in the same breath as him is a great honor. But it is certainly not up to me to answer that question. Real has so many mythical goalkeepers… Hopefully I can be there in goal for years to come and add a few trophies to my list of achievements. That would strengthen my candidacy.”
