First it is Senegal, winner of the 2021 edition, which will take the field against Sudan, a team that recently made history by becoming the first team to qualify for the round of 16 of the competition without having scored a single goal (an own goal from Equatorial Guinea on the second day).

Then will come, this Saturday evening, the clash between Mali and Tunisia. If the Eagles remain in three draws in the competition, the Carthage Eagles have only managed to get the better of Uganda (3-1) since December 23. During the last CAN, their clash in the group stage ended in a draw (1-1).
