The Copa de la Reina 2026 traces the path to the title this Wednesday with the pairing draw
With Amaya Valdemoro as master of ceremonies and with the YouTube FEB cameras broadcasting the event live, the 2026 Queen’s Cup pairing draw will define this Saturday the path to the title for an event that is expected to be exciting. Because the Palau d’Esports of Tarragona is already waiting for the 8 best teams of an LF Endesa ready to enjoy a great edition (12:30 p.m.).

With the first round of competition in the LF Endesa already concluded and once the 8 teams that will enter the fight for the title are known, the Copa de la Reina 2026 will begin its journey this Wednesday with what will be its pairing draw. An event that will be held at the FEB Museum in Alcobendas and in which we will learn about both the matchups for the quarterfinal round and the path to the grand final next Sunday, March 29.
The event, which will feature Amaya Valdemoro as presenter, will be a pure and unrestricted draw in which the 8 participating teams will be divided into two pots, that of the seeded teams and that of the rest of the qualified teams. In the first of them there will be Casademont Zaragoza, Spar Girona, Valencia Basket and Hozono Global Jairis as holders of the first four places at the end of the first round and, in the second of them, Perfumerías Avenida, Durán Maquinaria Ensino, IDK Euskotren and Innova-tsn Leganés.
In this way, both the quarter-final pairings and those that will be the semi-final matches will be drawn, all with a single condition since Casademont Zaragoza will play its quarter-final match on Thursday afternoon as a sporting prize for its classification as winter champion. A factor that would guarantee Carlos Cantero’s team 24 hours of additional rest ahead of a hypothetical semifinal.
The draw will begin at 12:30 p.m. and can be followed live on the Official YouTube Channel of the FEB (BaloncestoESP), thus starting the countdown clock. Because it will be between Thursday, March 26 and Sunday, March 29 when the Palau d’Esports in Tarragona will host a 2026 edition in which the Hozono Global Jairis will defend its status as current champion. An appointment in which we will meet the first champion of 2026 in the LF Endesa.
