Collin Murray-Boyles: NBA Rising Star to Watch

Collin Murray-Boyles has been selected to represent the Toronto Raptors on the rookie team for next month’s NBA Rising Stars Game in Los Angeles.

The vote was taken among the league’s assistant coaches.

Alijah Martiin was also selected to the G League team, but Jamal Shead was overlooked as a second-year player despite his excellent season.

Murray-Boyles was drafted ninth overall by the Raptors in last summer’s draft. He averages 7.8 assists and 5.1 rebounds in 37 games, with a shooting efficiency of 53.6% on an average of 21.5 minutes of play per game.

Martin has only played 88 minutes in 10 games this season, but has been solid in the G League in 2025-26. He averages 18.7 points in 21 games with an efficiency of 50%. He is a second-round pick by Toronto.

The Raptors entered Monday in third place in the Eastern Conference with a 29-19 record.
