Besiktas wants to strengthen itself with Quilindschy Hartman this winter. That reports ESPN Friday evening. The Burnley left back was heavily linked to Ajax last week.
Hartman started the season very energetically at Burnley, where he was a starter and scored well with assists. The flag now hangs very differently. The Dutch international is no longer a basic player. A situation that he would like to see changed in view of the World Cup next summer.
Ajax hoped to benefit from this through a rental deal, but that transfer (as is known) did not get off the ground. Besiktas hopes to succeed. ESPN knows that the Turkish top club has not yet contacted Burnley with a proposal, but that it ‘intends to make an attempt’, it can be read.
If Hartman makes the switch to Besiktas, the 24-year-old left back will be reunited with Orkun Kokcü. The two played very successfully together in the past at Feyenoord, where they celebrated the national championship together in 2023.
Hartman made himself heard on Instagram earlier this week. This was because of all the commotion that arose after the Ajax rumors. “With this message I would like to make it clear that I am not going to Ajax and that as long as I am a Burnley player I will give everything for the club,” the Dutch international wrote, among other things.
