Half of the cast for the 2025-2026 Champions League round of 16 is known. The eight best teams in the C1 league phase won their ticket to the eighth, without having to go through the play-offs. They are Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Tottenham, Barcelona, Chelsea, Manchester City and Sporting Lisbon.
On the other hand, these teams will have to wait for the results of the playoffs to know the identity of their respective opponents. The play-offs will be held on February 17 and 18 for the first legs and February 24 and 25 for the return legs.

Once this step has been validated, the serious things will begin. The round of 16 first legs will take place on March 10 and 11, with the return matches a week later, on March 17 and 18.
Last year, Paris Saint-Germain’s journey entered a new dimension from the round of 16. Defeated against the court of play at the Parc des Princes (1-0), the capital club rebelled at Anfield, before winning on penalties thanks to Gianluigi Donnarumma (1-0, 4-1 on the tabs).
Before, the Parisians had to go through the roadblocks. Fate had placed Stade Brestois in their path. Luis Enrique’s team made short work of the Finisterians (3-0, 7-0), without conceding a single goal.
This year, the Parisians will have to face Qarabag or Monaco (draw on Friday January 30), before knowing if they will compete in these round of 16.
