Champions League Play-offs & Final Phase: Full Tables

If the last evening of the C1 league phase offered many twists and turns, the picture for the rest of the competition is now (almost) known.

After conceding a draw against Newcastle (1-1), Paris Saint-Germain was ejected from the top 8. The European champion club, ultimately 11th, will face AS Monaco in the play-offs, which validated its ticket for the play-offs after a draw against Juventus (0-0), or Qarabag.

The winner of this meeting will then face FC Barcelona or Chelsea in the round of 16, both qualified in the top 8 of the league phase.

Monaco, for its part, will be opposed either to PSG, therefore, or to Newcastle, both out of the top 8 due to their draw.

A top 8 from which Real Madrid was also ejected after the Merengues’ defeat against Benfica this Wednesday (4-2). Alvaro Arbeloa’s players could find their evening opponent in the play-offs or the Norwegian club Bodo-Glimt. In the event of qualification, Kylian Mbappé’s teammates would then challenge Manchester City or Sporting.

Also note a possible clash between Germans in the play-offs between Borussia and Leverkusen, who could continue with a round of 16 against… Bayern Munich. But we’re not there yet. We will see more clearly this Friday, January 30 with the draw for the play-offs.
