CAN 2025: El Kaabi Drone Show – Casablanca Tribute

An exceptional gesture, an exceptional celebration. Author of a magnificent winning back scissors during Morocco’s victory against Zambia on Monday December 29 (0-3), his second of CAN 2025 after having already taken off to offer a success to the Atlas Lions during the opening match against the Comoros (2-0), Ayoub El Kaabi was honored in the sky of Casablanca this week.

The Moroccan hero of the group stage saw his gesture reproduced by an impressive drone show on the night of Monday to Tuesday, a few hours after the great performance of Walid Regragui’s men. An initiative of which Drone Cast Company, the company behind all the major drone shows in Morocco, claimed responsibility for the design early Wednesday, via a video posted on its Instagram account.

El Kaabi, the master of the bicycle

An initiative which should not calm the growing popularity of the Olympiakos scorer, already one of the faces of the 2025 African Cup of Nations. Currently co-top scorer of the tournament, along with his partner Brahim Diaz and the Algerian Riyad Mahrez (3 goals), El Kaabi is considered a specialist in cycling, a technical gesture that he masters perfectly and of which compilations lasting almost four minutes run at full speed on social networks since the start of the CAN.

Aged 32, the center forward trained at Racing Casablanca stands out by performing his acrobatic returns in motion, often in reverse, where attackers tend to try it after waiting for a cross from a static position. Will he have the opportunity to do it again in the knockout matches? First element of response on Sunday, during Morocco’s round of 16 against Tanzania.
