Alexander Nouri, 46-year-old German coach, focused attention on the beginning of 2026 with a turnaround at professional level.
The German coach, who had not trained since 2022, when he left the Greek side Kavala, chose to exchange football for McDonald’s, managing two spaces in the famous chain of fast food.

Gone are the days when he managed Bundesliga clubs – in 2016/17 he saved Werder Bremen from the relegation zone, finishing the season in 8th. Now, it is the restaurant business that moves him, as he explained to the Suddeutsche Zeitung.
«At the end of the day, both worlds aim to engage people. In football, it’s the players; here, it’s the employees. But the basic principle is the same: you need to understand who is sitting in front of you, what motivates them, what they need to perform well», he compared.
The former coach, who also coached Ingolstadt and Hertha, has been responsible, since January, for two McDonald’s restaurants in the German city of Herzogenrath.
