CHICAGO (AP) – Coby White scored 27 points and made 6 of the Bulls’ franchise-record-tying 25 3-pointers, and hot-shooting Chicago beat the ascendant LA Clippers 138-110 on Tuesday.
White was on fire again after he had a season-high six 3-pointers against Brooklyn on Sunday. But on Tuesday the Bulls made 25 of 47 three-pointers.
Matas Buzelis added 21 points, Ayo Dosunmu had 18 and Kevin Huerter 14. All three players made four 3-pointers. Nikola Vucevic added 19 points and eight rebounds, and the Bulls dominated a team that was on a roll. The Clippers had won six in a row and 13 of 15 since starting 6-21.
Chicago led by 21 points at halftime after matching a season high with 45 points in the second quarter.
James Harden led Los Angeles with 24 points. John Collins scored 23 and tied his season high with five 3-pointers.
Kawhi Leonard missed his third straight game. The six-time All-Star has been dealing with a sprained right ankle and a bruise on his left knee.
The Bulls led 70-49 at halftime after outscoring Los Angeles 45-19 in the second period.
