The regional adapted para archery championship brought together 33 competitors, Saturday December 13, at the La Briécoise hall.
The adapted sports sports associations, archers of Guipavas, the ASCGO of Saint-Pol-de-Léon, the ASCKAM of Pleyben and Quimper, the AMZER VAC of Plonéour-Lanvern, the CSDA of Morbihan and the ASLB of Briec and Quimper, were gathered for this afternoon, around sport.
The competitors participated in shooting at 18 meters, during two series of ten ends (three arrows), with a classification made according to the accumulation of points, by the referee of Quimper, Maurice Douay, in the presence of Per-Yan Lapart, representative of the Departmental Adapted Sports Committee.
The beginners took part in 12 meter shooting, as a leisure activity, with the aim of familiarizing themselves with the conduct of a competition.
At the end of this meeting, twelve competitors distinguished themselves in the different categories, winning the title of champion of Brittany. The next stage will be the French championship, which will take place from April 3 to 5, in Bourges (18).
The Briécoise association, Les Archers de Glazik, made up of around fifty members, under the presidency of François Lecomte, had made their equipment and targets available and had prepared the La Briécoise room to host this competition.
Thirteen adapted sports athletes from the Esat (establishment and work support service) in Briec and four athletes from the Esat in Pleyben are integrated into the Glazik Archers and participate in Monday evening training.
The meeting ended with the presentation of medals to the Brittany champions by Sébastien Jaffrès, sports presenter at Esat de Briec.
