The 2026 indoor archery season, with targets 18 meters from the shooting pitches, began for numerous archers from Brianza in Bonate Sotto in two competitions organized in the Sports Center of the Bergamo municipality by the Asd Bosco delle Querce di Seveso.
In the first race reserved only for the youth categories, they were celebrating two young people affiliated with the Bosco delle Querce company who competed in the Olympic Arch specialty: Mattia Innocente won in the student category and Thomas Somaschini in the very young category.
Archery, the first indoor competitions of 2026 in Bonate
In the second race, athletes from theAsd Archers of Borgia – Usmate Velate, Arco Monza and Brianza, Compagnia Arcieri del Sole – Solaro, Burarco Vimercate and Bosco delle Querce capable of winning individual medals and with their respective teams.
The season for three Solaro teams started on the first step of the Olympic podium with the senior men’s team and in the naked arch with the senior women’s and master men’s teams. The Arcieri del Borgia team won silver in the Olympic, beating that of Arco Monza and Brianza, while in the compound the gold rewarded the athletes on the platform for Burarco Vimercate. Two gold medals were won in the men’s sector by Bosco delle Querce di Seveso: one in the Olimpico with the masters, the other in the bare bow with the seniors.
Archery, medals in individual events
In individual tests the archers of Bosco delle Querce won medals in the Olympic with the senior Beatrice Prandini the silver then with the masters Massimo Valenti the gold and with Paolo Nozza the silver. The latter athlete then won bronze in bare bow placing himself behind his color partner Eric Esposito while in the women’s sector Chiara Pavone won silver. Furthermore, in the compound, senior Valerio Ravasi placed first ex aequo with Cortinovis (Arc.Gufi del Brembo) and, in third, Mark Mikhylovskiy. Six medals were won by archers from Solaro: in the Olympic competition the seniors Alberto Costanzo (gold), Riccardo Dilecce (silver), Samuele Grazioli (bronze); senior Stefania Pignalosa in bare bow; by the masters Adriano Fabbian (gold) and Massimo volpi (bronze).
