Curso BEC Advance Coach Education (4th edition)
- Total duration: 10 months (May 2026 – March 2027).
- Format: 22 days of training spread across 4 face-to-face campuses, with mentoring/virtual/self-study between blocks.
- Places: 16 seats in total.
- Language: English (homework and assignments in English; good level required).
- Equivalence: BWF Level 3.
Course details
Course aimed at coaches with links to the federative system (clubs, CTD/CETD, technical training and national programs).
Priority Note: Preference will be given (in case of limited places and/or attendance) to the technicians of the Project Emergeas established in the internal prioritization criteria.
Place and Dates: Holbaek (Denmark) from May 6 to 10, 2026.
*Participants must arrive one day before each in-person block.
Requirements to participate
Badminton Europe seeks profiles with ambition and potential to assume demanding positions. Meeting two or more of the following criteria will be considered:
- Official training.
- Experience with competitive players.
- Former international player.
- Experience in high performance environments.
- Training in sports sciences or other related fields.
Mandatory requirements:
- Be based in Europe.
- Good level of English.
Fee and registration
Badminton Europe delivers training no cost (estimated value “€4,995”).
Costs borne by the student: Each participant must cover travel, accommodation and food for the in-person campuses. For reference, BE estimates €60–80/day for accommodation and food (shared room option).
FESBA SCHOLARSHIP AND AID PROGRAM
The FESBA will grant a maximum aid of €1,200 per technician to support the expenses derived from participation (travel, stays, maintenance).
Conditions for payment:
The participant must deliver tickets or receipts for an amount equal to or greater than the aid within a period of 15 days after each stay/campus (or according to the communicated administrative procedure).
Aid commitments:
- Attend and complete the course under the conditions set by Badminton Europe.
- Hold an online talk of approx. 1h 30 min aimed at technicians of the FESBA system, explaining their participation, learning and practical applications (date to be agreed with FESBA).

- motivation letter (max. 1 page in English) + 1 reference (email and telephone).
- short video (max. 5 minutes in English) introducing yourself as a coach and as a person.

FESBA internal procedure

Interested persons must send the documentation to FESBA for evaluation and to process the institutional support email required by BE. The process includes interviews with pre-selected candidates.
