Basketball Champions League: Galatasaray & TOFAŞ in Round of 16

The excitement of the Play-In round in the FIBA Basketball Champions League is officially behind us. With eight more teams bidding farewell to the Basketball Champions League, everything is now ready for the Last 16 excitement!

As you know, Galatasaray MCT Technic and TOFAŞ will represent our country in the Round of 16 this year. With Bursaspor and Mersin Spor bidding farewell to the league, two Turkish teams remain.

This week, both of our representatives will play their first match in the Round of 16. First of all, TOFAŞ will host the German team ALBA Berlin on Tuesday evening (January 20). Our representative will try to make an assertive start by winning at home.

Another of our representatives, Galatasaray MCT Technic, will host Le Mans on Wednesday evening (January 21). By winning this match, our representative will strive to make a good start to the Round of 16 and to maintain the positive momentum it has achieved with its new coach Gianmarco Pozzecco.
