A member of the club for five years, Simon has been playing badminton for fifteen years. Project manager in IT, he “ immersed in the associative environment “. His father is still president of an association in Pas-de-Calais and his brother Thomas was a coach at BWM. The new president wishes to continue the work undertaken by Christophe Guillerme. The partnership with Kinepolis Lomme has been renewed and a new sponsor has been added with Trois Brasseurs Lomme and Englos.
The club will continue the actions undertaken to develop women’s sport. “Badgirls” evenings reserved for women are offered twice a year, in October and March. On the menu: fitminton, in other words a fitness activity then free play badminton. These evenings are free, open to all and not just to licensees. The men are only there to tend the bar.
A friendly moment among others, as explained by Simon Féraré, who presents this family side as “the DNA of the club”. A Spanish hostel concludes each interclub day at home. The volunteers are numerous and involved, particularly during the tournament organized the first weekend in June and which brings together all the club players and the best players in the region.
