Excellent results for the Badminton athletes of Cus Salerno who, on 3 and 4 January 2026, participated in the “New Year’s Eve in Naples 2026” trophy in Cercola, a national level competition which saw the participation of numerous players from all over Italy. Cus Salerno, with thirteen athletes, many of whom were at their first experience in a national tournament, achieved notable results. Among these, the second place in the men’s singles category D for Vladyslav Maslov, followed by the third place of Giuseppe Ammaturo in the same category. Again Ammaturo, paired with Luca Siano, took second place in the men’s doubles category D. Third place then went to Roberto Siano, who competed in the men’s doubles category D together with Giovanni Massari of the SEI sports club. In the women’s sector, Martina Matonti took third place in the women’s singles category D, as well as third place in the women’s doubles category D paired with Rosa Albano. Martina Matonti was also the protagonist in the mixed doubles category D, where she conquered the lowest step of the podium together with Luca Siano.
