On January 6th, the first round of the final round of the 101st Emperor’s Cup All-Japan Basketball Championship was held at the Yoyogi National Stadium First and Second Gymnasiums (both located in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo).
In the B2 slot, Shinshu Brave Warriors and Rising Zephyr Fukuoka, as well as Toyama Grouse and Altiri Chiba, who were promoted to B1 this season, will appear from the first round. A Chiba defeated Pacific Rim University 119-72, with Watanabe Rene starting the game and scoring 24 points.
