The Swede scored 2-0 against Burnley.

The goal was Ayari’s second for Brighton this league season.

Early in the second half, the Swede pushed the ball in behind Martin Dúbravka in the Burnley goal, making it 2–0 on the scoreboard.

This after advancing into the offensive penalty area and then finishing distinctly in the far corner.

The goal was Ayari’s second in the Premier League this season, after scoring against Tottenham in September.

Ekdal in the back line

However, Ayari was not the only Swede who played football at the Amex stadium on Saturday.

Hjalmar Ekdal played 90 minutes in Burnley’s backline.
