During January 10 and 11, the town of Valdeluz, in Guadalajara, hosted the Castilla-La Mancha Indoor Archery Championship 2025-2026. The test has brought together archers from various clubs in the region, with a total of 155 athletes. The participants competed in different categories of precision, traditional bow and naked bow during two very intense days.
The archers from the CD Arqueros de Don Quijote have achieved great results in this test. On the one hand, Belén Chacón Serrano has risen to the top of the podium, winning gold in the senior female compound bow modality and thus putting the finishing touch to an indoor league where she has remained at the top. For his part, Juan Antonio López Nieves participated for the first time in a major championship. After a day of nerves due to the unknown, he obtained a good score that allowed him to get first place in the male juvenile recurve bow category.
With these two awards, the club continues to grow day by day with its athletes, who are beginning to dare to participate in regional competitions.
