Archery Championships: Lorient Qualifiers – 200 Archers Compete

Last weekend, in the Svob room, the 18 m archery competition was held, organized by the Lorient Sports, Artistic and Leisure Association (Asal). Like every year, this one being a qualifier for the French championships. The event welcomed 200 shooters over the weekend, from 26 clubs (Finistère, Morbihan, Ile-de-France… but also from Nice). Among the 200 archers, two members of the French compound bow team came to try to qualify for the European Championships: Jean Philippe Boulch, from Rueuil-Malmaison, and Quentin Baraër, from Rennes, who unfortunately did not achieve their objective. Several archers performed well and qualified for the next French championships.

Next meetings: the Morbihan championships, in Ploërmel (56), the Brittany championships in Saint-Renan (29), and the French championships, in Paris.
