Archers of Péaule: Club Growth & Sport News

The president of Archers of Péaule (Morbihan), Alain Moreau presented the moral report of the past season, highlighting a very positive evolution of the club.

A strong associative dynamic

The club now has around 50 members, including 15 young people and 35 adults. This significant increase in numbers confirms the attractiveness of archery in the town. In order to support this growth, several tools were put in place during the 2024-2025 season: updating of the statutes, internal regulations, as well as the creation of a welcome booklet, including the display of safety rules.

Modernized equipment

The exterior shooting range has benefited from major development work. It is now fully operational and to the satisfaction of athletes.

Very involved in village life, the club also participated in several local events, such as the Fête de la Musique and the Nuits Vilaines festival. He has also organized, on several occasions, introductory activities to this sport for young people in the town.

An exceptional sporting season

On a sporting level, the season was particularly successful. Archers can choose leisure or competition practice. The competitors took part in numerous individual and team events, with convincing results: 18 gold medals, 12 silver medals and 8 bronze medals, as well as two “team” podiums.

Congratulations to all the competitors, especially Madeline for her 3e departmental place S1FCL, and Nicolas, departmental vice-champion S1HCL rejoiced the president.

A healthy financial situation

The financial report presented shows a balanced financial situation, allowing the club to ensure the renewal of equipment and to plan new investments, in particular for the acquisition of outfits in the club’s colors.

After discussions, the assembly validated the removal of the Thursday slot for young non-competitors, as well as the Monday training slot, decisions which will come into force from the start of the school year in September.

Projects

For the 2025-2026 season, the Péaule Archers will continue to improve their equipment, set up competition calendars and hope to welcome new licensees, particularly among archers wishing to enter competition.
