Hasi about Coosemans contract: “That is up to management”
The individual trophies have been won, now the collective ones must follow. Anderlecht gained extra confidence going into 2026 by winning two prizes for the Golden Shoe.
Colin Coosemans, among others, won prizes as ‘Goalkeeper of the Year’. In the meantime, negotiations are still ongoing about a new contract – the goalkeeper has not yet accepted Anderlecht’s proposal.
“I talk to Colin a lot,” Hasi said at the press moment before the cup match.
“But not about the contract negotiations. I leave that to the management. Or I fear that he made mistakes because of that uncertainty? That should not be allowed. Moreover, Colin, like every player, has the right to make mistakes. We should not always magnify that.”
And the news from Anderlecht’s infirmary: Kana and Augustinsson are fit again. According to Hasi, Ilay Camara is “on the right track” and Stroeykens is also training individually. “We hope he will be back at the end of January.”
