Anderlecht and Joma split up

The contract with Joma expires after this season. The Spanish brand has been supplying Anderlecht shirts since 2019. Initially, this collaboration was met with some skepticism, but in recent years the Purple & White fans have changed their minds because the shirts usually remain close to the traditional purple and white.

Nevertheless, the collaboration would not be extended. A few months ago, Anderlecht seemed to have an agreement in principle with Joma until 2030, but that was ultimately never capitalized on. Now the club is taking a different path.

Adidas returns

They are said to be about to sign another deal with Adidas. The prestigious German sports brand already supplied Anderlecht’s shirts from 1976 to 2019, making them a partner for the club’s greatest successes.

For the time being, none of the parties involved want to confirm the story, but it seems only a matter of time before the collaboration can be officially announced. With this, Anderlecht revives history a bit.
