Today, Friday, a strong confrontation will be held between Al-Ahly Club and Al-Ittihad of Alexandria at the summit of the seventh round of the Allianz Men’s Basketball Premier League for the 2025-2026 sports season.
The Allianz League ranking round competitions are held in a home-and-away system between the eight participating teams, with the winner receiving two points and one point for the loser, in order to rank the teams from first to eighth and determine the quarter-final matches.
Eight teams participate in the ranking round, namely: Al-Ahly, Al-Ittihad of Alexandria, Zamalek, Sporting, Al-Jazira, Telecom Egypt, Petrojet, and Smouha.

Al-Ahly Club leads the Allianz Premier League table with 12 points, followed by Al-Ittihad of Alexandria with the same score, trailing on goal difference.
The Allianz Basketball Premier League is the most prominent tournament in the local season, as its champion qualifies for the African League, which represents the gateway to the Club World Cup.
