The legendary coach released a long-awaited video and revealed many things fans didn’t know about.
Zeljko Obradovic has finally spoken out and explained why he left Partizan.
In the video, which is sure to spark plenty of discussion and controversy, Obradovic opened up about his relationship with club president Ostoja Mijailovic, saying he believes Mijailovic is responsible for the current state of the club. He also insisted that Dylan Osetkowski was not a player he wanted.
In his speech, Zeljko Obradovic repeatedly said that he was not satisfied with the actions of Ostoja Mijailovic, who also asked him to include a part in the statement stating “Obradovic presents irrevocable resignation.”
“This situation is not normal and it is not good for Partizan. I also think that the responsibility for this situation lies with the club president, Ostoja Mijailovic, and I told him so. »
He also said he didn’t want Dylan Osetkowski on his team.
“I would like to clarify that during the period when the club was operating, sporting director Zoran Savic did not have a contract, and while the transfer window was open, we met every day at my request to discuss business. I was quite surprised to learn that, for example, it was decided that Brandon Davis would leave the club and Osetkowski would be signed. Although I told the president that he was not the right player for us at that time, he replied: “Well, we already signed him”. So, to clarify the situation, Osetkowski is not my signature. »
We will see if a reaction from Ostoja Mijailovic will follow in the coming days.
