(Seoul = News 1) Reporter Ahn Young-jun = Shin Yu-bin, who raised her stock price by taking the top spot with Lim Jong-hoon in the mixed doubles at the World Table Tennis (WTT) Hong Kong Finals 2025, continues her uninterrupted winter schedule.

On the 13th (Korean time), Shin Yu-bin defeated the world’s strongest pair, Wang Chu-qin and Sun Ying-sha (China), with a game score of 3-0 (11-9 11-8 11-6) in the mixed doubles finals of the tournament she participated in with Lim Jong-hoon and rose to the top.

Shin Yu-bin, who immediately returned to Korea and began training at the Jincheon Athletes’ Village, plans to continue her busy schedule until the end of this year and the beginning of next year.

First of all, Shin Yu-bin will attend the ‘Table Tennis Festival with Shin Yu-bin’ in Dangjin, South Chungcheong Province on the 27th. In this competition hosted by the Dangjin City Table Tennis Association and the Elementary Table Tennis Federation, Shin Yu-bin will participate as a special guest and spend meaningful time with ‘table tennis dreamers.’

Next, the WTT Champions Doha and WTT Star Contender Doha competitions will be held in Doha, Qatar from January 7 to 18 next year.

Shin Yu-bin will attempt to win a prize at the WTT Champions Doha, which is held only in singles, and then participate in all three events – singles, doubles, and mixed doubles – in WTT Star Contender to improve her ranking. In women’s doubles, she is paired with Joo Cheon-hee (Samsung Life Insurance).

From now on, Shin Yu-bin will have to endure a tight competition schedule without any rest.

Shin Yu-bin will participate in the National Men’s and Women’s Unified Championships to be held in Jecheon, North Chungcheong Province starting on January 21st, two days after returning from Qatar, and aims for gold in the mixed doubles and team event.

Next, they will participate in the Asian Cup hosted by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF), which will be held in Haikou, China, from February 4 to 8, and the WTT Star Contender 2026 will be held in Chennai, India, from February 10 to 15.

After completing WTT Star Contender, he will participate in Singapore Smash 2026, which will be held in Singapore from February 19 to March 1.

It is a two-month schedule with no time to catch your breath, going back and forth between Dangjin, Doha, Jecheon, Haikou, Chennai, and Singapore.

Shin Yu-bin plans to spend a warm year-end with promising table tennis players in Korea during this period, while focusing on accumulating ranking points through winning the National Men’s and Women’s Unified Championships and winning prizes in international competitions.
