According to the ATP, Alcaraz will earn 35 percent of points on first serve returns in the 2025 season. This is higher than second place J. Sinner (Italy) (33.6%), making him the top player on the tour for the third consecutive year since 2023.

On the ATP Tour, there are many situations where the first serve takes control of the match, making it very difficult for the returner to win points. Among them, Alcaraz has maintained a stable figure of over 30% every year.

This performance is not limited to a single year; since Alcaraz first joined the tour in 2021, he has never finished outside the top five in terms of points earned on returns to first serves. In the last three seasons (2023-2025), he has recorded 35%, and the difference with the second-place player during the same period is more than 6%.

In addition, his career record is 34.4 percent, which is the highest percentage in history and surpasses that of R. Nadal (Spain) (34.2 percent).

Stable return numbers are one of the factors that have allowed Alcaraz to continue to stay at the top of the world rankings.
