The “Winter Classic” game has become really famous in the NHL in recent years. Once a season, two teams compete in the open air in an American football or baseball stadium. But such an outdoor spectacle does not only exist overseas, but also in the Swiss Women’s League.
The sixth “Women’s Winter Classic” will take place in Gstaad on Tuesday. Hosts and champions SCB and leader EVZ will meet on the open ice rink in the village center from 5:30 p.m. The two teams competed in the last playoff final, with the Bernese team winning the series 3-0.
