The hockey players of Slovan Bratislava will welcome the new year as the leader of the Tipsport league with a four-point lead over HK Nitra.

An eight-game winning streak ended for the players of Poprad on Sunday, when they lost 0:2 in Košice, but they still ended the year with a victory.
