Indonesia swallowed a crushing 0-8 defeat against Thailand in the first match. Meanwhile against Singapore, Indonesia won 3-1.

Captain Indonesia, Gea Yumandainsisting that he and his colleagues benefited from the long break. Indonesia last competed on December 7 2025, having a rest period of four days longer than Vietnam. Gea is enthusiastic about the semifinal match.

“First of all, I am very happy to be here because we managed to get to the semifinals, this is the first time for Indonesia,” said Gea on the Kita Garuda website.

“Maybe we have a slight advantage because we have four or five days of recovery time. Tomorrow is a very important match for us. We know Vietnam is a very strong team, and the last time Indonesia faced them, the results were less than satisfactory. But don’t worry, this team is different from before, both in terms of coaches and players.”

“I hope that tomorrow we can perform as well as possible, and I also wish the best for my team,” he added.
