Timothy Dupont sprints to third Belgian beach racing title on Middelkerke beach: “I’m 38, but not worn out yet”
Timothy Dupont (Tarteletto-Isorex) was crowned Belgian beach race champion for the third time in his career on Sunday in Middelkerke. In an open race, won solo by Frenchman Samuel Leroux (Team TotalEnergies), Dupont sprinted faster than WorldTour riders Bert Van Lerberghe (Soudal Quick-Step) and Edward Planckaert (Alpecin-Deceuninck) in the battle for the Belgian title.
