The most positive mayor of Ugra showed a photo of him playing football with the first governor of the region
The head of the Beloyarsky district, Sergei Manenkov, brought a photograph of him playing football with the first governor of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, Alexander Filippenko, to the improvised museum of the Ugra TV channel. He showed it during a broadcast from the Ugra-Classic cultural and entertainment center, where celebrations on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the region are taking place.
“I’m proud that I’m from Filipenkov’s team,” Manenkov began his story about how he became the head of the territory more than 36 years ago. At that time, there was no known architecture in Beloyarskoye; even the sidewalks, at best, were paved with boards. But then Alexander Filipenko relied on the activity and fearlessness of the young Manenkov, which yielded results. The city of Beloyarsky, despite its remoteness, is considered one of the most comfortable places to live in Russia.
“When Alexander Vasilyevich came, we not only did business, but also played football,” Manenkov said and showed the audience a photo from the gym. During the broadcast, the photograph remained in a makeshift museum.
Sergei Manenkov said that he had already met Alexander Filipenko. He asked him: “Well, have I ruined your life?”, to which Manenkov replied: “No, I’m happy how everything turned out.”
Let us note that on December 10, Ugra celebrates the 95th anniversary of the region. District ceremonial events take place during these hours in Khanty-Mansiysk. The festive concert, which will be hosted by Dmitry Guberniev and Yana Churikova, can be viewed at on air TV channel “Ugra”.
