After the two headquarters were raided within the framework of a mega operation that responds to the investigation into the financial company linked to Tapia, the club chaired by Néstor Grindetti issued a statement.
It was a turbulent day for Independiente. After the long weekend, the club woke up to raids as a result of the Sur Finanzas case that affects the AFA and several institutions. The headquarters of Miter 470 and Boyacá were the affected places.
After several hours of knowing the news, the Red networks reported: “Club Atlético Independiente received a raid this morning within the framework of a general case that investigates the company Sur Finanzas”. And he continued: “From the first minute all the information was made available to Justice, emphasizing that the institution does not have or had any commercial agreement, contract, or operational and/or financial link with the investigated company.“.

At the end, the club chaired by Néstor Grindetti admitted: “The only existing relationship was the receipt of a voluntary donation which was intended for a specific renovation in the guesthouse on the Villa Domínico property. “This donation was only partially completed and its supporting documentation is already in court.”.
In this way, the raids that affected clubs such as Racing and San Lorenzo also reached Independiente. Now we will have to wait to see what Justice resolves, although it is not encouraging news in such difficult times that the club is going through.
