Monika is the kind of woman who immediately reminds you of warm summer evenings in Tuscany, even though she lives in wintery Toronto. She moves as if the city was built especially for her: Kensington Market becomes her catwalk, King Street her backstage, and on the waterfront of Lake Ontario even the bleak cold wind seems to stop for a moment.
