Defender reinforced his desire to play in the 2026 World Cup
In an interview with the French magazine “France Football“, the defender Thiago Silvafrom Fluminense, once again commented on his future in football. The Monster reaffirmed that he is close to hanging up his boots, but reinforced his desire to compete for the World Cup 2026 for the Brazilian team.
– Yes, it was a little premeditated (signing with Fluminense until the middle of 2026). I haven’t been called up since the 2022 World Cup, but I thought it wasn’t impossible. That’s why I signed for two years with Fluminense, to try to play in the World Cup.
– Can you imagine if I end my career with a world champion title? It would be the absolute dream and the perfect time to stop.
