New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs is going through a tough time as criminal charges now hang over him.
According to information reported by Boston25News.comDiggs reportedly faces charges related to an incident involving strangulation or suffocation as well as minor assault.
The case quickly took a legal turn, forcing the player’s entourage to react. His lawyer, Michael DiStefano, appeared in court Tuesday in an effort to have the police report sealed, a move aimed at limiting the public release of details of the investigation.
Even if this request were to be granted, the NFL will have access to the relevant information.
