Southeast Asia Para Games: Athletes’ Send-Off Ceremony

(VOVWORLD) – The farewell ceremony for the Vietnamese delegation of athletes with disabilities to take part in the 13th Southeast Asia Para Games (ASEAN Para Games 13) took place in Ho Chi Minh City on Tuesday.

The 13th Southeast Asia Para Games will be held in Thailand from January 15th to 27th, 2026. The Vietnamese delegation includes 185 members, including 141 athletes. They will compete in eleven sports including athletics, swimming, weightlifting, badminton, table tennis, chess, judo and tennis. The delegation has set a goal of winning 40 to 50 gold medals.

The ASEAN Para Games 13 will be held with the participation of eleven Southeast Asian countries. It is the region’s largest sporting event for people with disabilities, with 19 sports on the competition program.
